Leaders' Summit Service

Held on-line on 26th May 2021, it was very heartening to see all pastors, staff and leaders unite on Zoom after one year's absence of not being able to gather for our Annual Leaders' Summit.

With anticipation, we were geared to hear Pastor Yang and Pastor Chris Berglund bring the exhortation.

As the Summit kicked off, Pastor Chris spoke about a fully surrendered life that was completely yielded to the Lord, holding nothing back from God. This added on to his earlier exhortation concerning this group of believers who want to go all the way with God – they will find unique provision, revelation, and insights from the throne room of heaven that cannot be found by all.

Pastor Chris shared some of his dreams like he always does, and he touched on how accusations can impact us – accusations we make against ourselves, accusations others make against us, and accusations we make against others.

The most valuable possession was the kingly and priestly robes of the body of Christ which were taken by the words of others.

I’m sure every leader can relate to this, having to deal with people all the time. However, he said that the way we handle these accusations will affect the course of the future. If we would choose to be like King David who did not touch the Lord’s anointed when attacked, there would be a greater promotion that God would invite us into in the future.

In one of his dreams, he found himself in the trophy room of the enemy. There were callings and giftings, things that the enemy had stolen from the body of Christ, and they were on display in this room. The most valuable possession was the kingly and priestly robes of the body of Christ which were taken by the words of others.

The believers didn’t think they could wear the robes that were going to change the earth, to bring awakening, revival and to set the captives free because they believed the accusations.

The world is awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God and it begins with us!

Pastor Chris sensed that the Lord was calling leaders to take these priestly garments and kingly robes back. He wants to clothe us with garments of righteousness and give us His authority, but we need to yield ourselves to Him and come to an understanding of us being fully “one” with Him. The world is awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God and it begins with us!

Pastor Yang concluded and reminded us of the authority that comes with leadership and the need for purity. We cannot function in our sphere of authority as leaders unless our garments are clean. The effectiveness of our ministry is going to be determined by how much we allow the Holy Spirit to cleanse us. The Lord wants to take off our filthy garments and put on new garments. He wants to clothe us with His righteousness.

In this season, the Lord is calling Cornerstone to up the ante when it comes to prayer for revival. Pastor Yang believes that God will raise a band of intercessory prayer warriors that can shift things in heaven and on earth, if only we will yield ourselves to what the Lord wants to do in this hour.

Can we believe that we can be the Isaiah 60 revelation of Christ to the world, for the nations to come and bow at His feet because they only see Jesus through us?
